This is the website of Alberta Soccer Association's Referee Development Committee. The main web site for Alberta Soccer Association is found at www.albertasoccer.com .
At this site we share information, resources and updates for referees, instructors and assessors. The Referee Development tab also provides links to register for refresher courses, entry level clinics for those wishing to become referees, upgrade clinics, clinics for instructors and assessors as well as links to online required examinations and if you wish to receive RDC Newsletters. At this time, you do not need to subscribe to this page to register for clinics and courses. In the future this may change. Such requests will be kept for future reference.

Under resources there are now posted the online Refresher Exam for 2011. All returning referees are required to complete this exam prior to attending a Refresher course. The purpose of the exam is to help the course instructor recognize the participants’ knowledge and which areas may require more clarification during the course. You will also be asked to register for a clinic when you take the online exam. If anyone isn’t able to complete the online test, have them contact Tiana at the above email and she will make alternative arrangements.

All referees are reminded that they must renew their registration for 2011. If they do not renew their registration, they will not be allowed to attend a refresher course.
The April 9 and 10 Super Entry Level Course at University of Alberta in Edmonton is also found in this registration link for entry level courses. Whe you register you will will be sent instructions for billing purposes. For that weekend of April 9 & 10 this will be the only course offered in Edmonton and area.
